Robinia pseudoacacia 'Nyriségi' is a forestry selection from Hungary. This selection produces high quality wood but also well adaptable trees for urban environments. Black locust is known for its nitrogen-fixing capabilities, making it able to grow on poor soils and an early colonizer of disturbed areas.
